What I learned being poor
There is a quote that is often said, “Money can’t buy happiness.” The history behind this quote is somewhat vague. The earliest mention of money and happiness falls back to Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Genevan philosopher, writer, and composer. Rousseau mentioned in a 1750 writing: “Money buys everything, except morality and citizens.” Over the years, this has transformed to include several different nouns and phrases.
